Paintless Dent Removal (PDR)

Paintless Dent Repair, or PDR, is the process of removing hail damage, dents, dings, and creases without using conventional autobody methods. Damage is removed by various sizes of metal rods via the backside of the panel. Where there is limited or no access, glue-pull methods are used. A repair shop should NEVER drill holes in your vehicle to gain access to damage!

Be cautious of companies that set up shop overnight, making offers to waive deductibles and beyond. They may be qualified and reputable, however many of these companies are jumping at the chance to “get rich quick”. Do your research and ask questions regarding the technicians they employ. What is their experience level? How long they have been in business? Do they offer a warranty on the repairs? Regardless of whether you choose Caropractor, we believe you deserve proper repairs. The methods utilized should not compromise your vehicle in any way.

Hail Damage Repair

In the great state of Colorado our wild and unpredictable weather is just a part of life. This includes a wide range of damaging hail. Minor to moderate damage may warrant the less invasive method of PDR; the process of removing hail damage without using conventional autobody methods. While extensive damage may require conventional body repairs, refinishing or a combination of all three. Conventional methods may include the replacement of parts, major panels, or glass or metal repairs where PDR is not cost-effective or the finish has been compromised. Caropractor’s in-house PDR, autobody, and refinish technicians keep repair costs reasonable by eliminating the middlemen – subcontractor dent companies.

Many shops are required to use specific dent companies in their insurance contracts to remain on a program. Caropractor does not hold any insurance contracts, meaning an insurance company will never dictate who repairs your vehicle in our facility.

Our refinish process dramatically reduces the amount of volatile organic compounds (VOC) released back into the atmosphere versus solvent based materials.
